On the Road Again

When did I post last? What have we done since then?

Hmmm. Five days ago. We ate lots of tomatoes, and went for walks and cooked and ate and went shopping. Tom worked on genealogy and I worked on trip plans for our New England trip. I took my sewing machine in for servicing - my maintenance plan runs out soon and I am not renewing it since I have been doing very little sewing - and then I had to borrow Jill's sewing machine to shorten the dress slacks I bought.

We went to kids' soccer games and a great Sounders match and watched a bad Seahawks game on TV. It rained off and on and the 70 degree temps are now gone for this year.

We will mark the Autumnal Equinox by watching the sun sink into the fog bank over the Pacific from the beach at Rockaway.

There is no Internet at our beach cabin so won't be posting for a while. Our phones will get us on Facebook for those of you who find us there.

This will be a short trip. We will leave Tuesday morning after my haircut appointment and be back Friday night. We have grandparent duties on Saturday.

It will be nice to get away, just the two of us.

See you later.
