The Chihuly Museum Garden

This was our second visit to the Chihuly Museum, and both times were in late winter, so the plants we saw in the garden were similar, but with this year's early spring, more were popping out of the ground.

Arisaema (Jack-in-the-pulpit) varieties were already blooming. Great pairing of glass and plants here.

Since it was such a pleasant day we walked around Seattle Center a bit before returning to our transports to take us back home.
Lots of floks were out enjoying the sunshine.
I found this bleeding heart already in bloom in the shelter of the Center House.
The new playground next to the Experience Music Project was teeming with tots.
Fun times in the city.

  1. We had such a cloudy, drizzly day when we were in the garden so our photos of the outside was very blah. Yours really jump out at you. Totally gorgeous, Linda!

  2. This is a museum I would love to see. You would think living this close to Seattle I could accomplish this. Maybe sometime.

  8. This was really a nice excursion! My (favorite but don't tell anyone) daughter just moved up to Seattle and will be getting an advanced degree at UW. I was worried that she would get depressed if she doesn't see the sun but your pictures were wonderful - and the day was sunny! Mahalo (thank you) for the great photos and day.
