Ahh. I didn't think I would be happy when the rain returned, but I am. Everything looks so fresh, so lush and dripping. And I can take the day off. I can enjoy the results of my gardening from the window and not have to get down in the dirt. I am loving being lazy today!

sounds fun, rain is a real treat here in the desert area of southern utah when it comes. it's 103 degrees today, that's hot but it will get hotter. we live for the warm winters and endure the hot summers but are thinking of getting a cabin in no. idaho for a second place to live during the summers where it's cool and rains. seems there's few places except california is the old days that met that climate criteria year round. enjoy your rest, while your garden gets watered.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! This is so gorgeous! It's sort of a Garden of Eden.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteThis is fun! Jan just sent me a link to your blog and let me know you had also been to Giverny. I love your pictures and you have added much more text (than I have) that I really enjoyed.
I especially enjoyed your musings about Mother's Day.
Are you headed out for any more travels?
Steffany
Steffany, it's good to hear from you. I quickly checked your blog, too, but my computer was acting up so I need to get back to it. Comcast has us straightened out again now.
ReplyDeleteWe have not decided about our next travels, but after receiving the credit card bill and seeing how prices that were reasonable in euros translate to dollars, we may stay in the states for the next year of two. Of cousre travel anywhere is going to be more expensive now. Where is that Jetson's technology when you need it?
