  1. good for you. Guess what I'm getting a new grand daughter in Dec. Can't wait to make cute little dresses for her like you do. So pretty.

  2. So cute! I used to sew a lot when my girls were young. I think I've forgotten how.

  3. I love it! I made all my kids clothes for so many years! And it was such fun. I'm frequently asked it I don't miss having grandchildren and I can only say that you don't miss what you've never had and three of my children have chosen not to marry, the one that is, chose not to have children. I don't feel a loss, I do enjoy sharing the pleasure that my friends have with theirs.

    Have a great Thanksgiving, Linda!

  4. Lin, how wonderful!

Janie, I had forgotten too. I relearned after I retired and bought a new sewing machine.

Thank you, Sylvia. I think you're right that you don't miss what you don't have. We love our families as they are.

  5. Linda, that is so gorgeous! You are really amazing! Irene will be ecstatic. I can just imagine her telling everybody that her talented grandma made the dress for her. You are the master of time management. I wasn't even able to get to visiting yesterday.
