Holiday Music

I discovered that radio station Warm 106.9 has started their 'all Christmas music, all of the time' early this year - today! They said we needed it this year to help with the hard times. It seemed early, but I listened as I sewed, and loved it.

    I love the Christmas hymns and songs but when they come on so early I am getting tired of them before Christmas. Some stations seem to play the same ones over and over. My I sound grumpy---find me some soothing sounds. MB

    I located that radio station on line and am listening while I write this. Not many local NZ stations play Christmas music here now, more's the pity. Thanks Linda.

    I have found that if I play my favorite holiday CDs I can be my own DJ

    the stores have been playing Christmas music since Halloween

    I have a hard time with Christmas music in stores because I feel they are being commerical and not really honoring what the season is all about...

    Dianne - I haven't got the holiday cds loaded up yet. But soon.

    Lin - The few times I've been in stores lately I also found the holiday music a bit jarring - too loud and I wasn't ready for it, I guess.

    MB - you can be as grumpy as you like. After all, everybody loves the Grinch. We know he has a big heart.
