Fun With the Punkins

We all decided to have a play day today, and for that we drove out into the countryside east of Seattle to Remlinger Farms, near Carnation.  Isaac decided after selecting this destination that it might be a bit young for him.  
"I am ten, you know," he said.  And yes, most of the hundreds of other kids there were younger, but we all had a good time.

 Driving out into the countryside, we enjoyed the autumn foliage, which glowed even in the persistent fog.

 At the farm there were puddles of pumpkins.
We went on silly rides.








 And we visited the great pumpkin patch.
 And the corn maze


We had a good day full of family fun.  The lattes, hot cider, hot chocolate, kettle corn and brownies were good too!

    I never heard of "puddles of pumpkins" before, but I think you found them. Happy Sunday to you, Linda. It never cleared off today... boohoo. :-)

    What fun. Puddles of pumpkins...I love that phrase. I love when the kiddos think they are too old for a place but end up really have a great time. Great memories.

    Sure glad being 10 wasn't too old. Besides it took a pretty big guy to wield that wheelbarrow.

    I did intentionally misspell pumpkins in my header. "Punkins" as in those little punkins, refers to kids, a term of endearment, as well as a child's way of speaking about those orange orbs.
    Fun with kids and pumpkins.

    Great place for a Halloween fun day! We've been there several times but never saw the rides when they were operating. Looks like a fun place to take grandkids!
