The adults were all tired and the kids were full of spunk, but we all managed to enjoy some dinner together and some pumpkin killing (think Charlie Brown - " Aw, you didn't tell me you were going to kill it!" ).
Halloween fun has begun!
Cute! I suggest you salt and roast the pumpkin seeds. Delicious!
ReplyDeleteCool outcomes!
ReplyDeletelots of difficult work I can tell. but great outcome!
ReplyDeleteThose are great! I especially like the one with the horns. Very clever!
ReplyDeleteCreative pumpkin carving! I like the one who got sick. Who's idea was that? :-)
ReplyDeleteGigi, my last job last night was to roast pumpkin seeds. DJan, Jake's pumpkin got sick. Tom's creativity began in the pumpkin patch when he choose the misshapen gourd that became the little horned creature. Irene created the kitty and designed the Cyclops. My apple shaped pumpkin became a skull. Isaac created two very interesting designs, one with the huge squiggly mouth.
ReplyDeleteI cracked up at Irene with her clip board. What is that about? That girl just has a head for business.
ReplyDeleteVery well done. And I believe one of them is vomiting?
ReplyDeleteSo fun was had by all. It's good to see the kids can do a messy project on Grandma's dining room table. Most houses are too pernickity for carving pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative bunch. I almost missed the sick one--really imaginative and a good use of innards. Great to see all generations involved.
ReplyDeleteLove the sick one and the kitty..good job all! :)
ReplyDeleteOh what fun! We did a bunch of pumpkin carvings ourselves and will post them when I'm at my own computer again. Have a wonderful Halloween!
