Mother's Day

On Mother's Day we celebrate and honor our mothers and all those who have served in the role of Mother, and especially those who are actively mothering right now.

This photo was taken in June of 2011, the last year of my mother's life.  We miss our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She will be in our thoughts.

On this Mother's Day Sunday I will have my children and grandchildren here with me at our home.  I will honor my daughter Jill, one of the best mothers I know.

Happy Mother's day to all.  May the memories be sweet and the gatherings be full of joy.

  14. A beautiful picture! As long as they live in our memories, those we love but see no longer are never truly gone.
