Northwest Flower and Garden Show, Part 3 - Orchids and Flower Arrangements

One of the display gardens is created by the Northwest Orchid Society.

It seems to me that orchids enjoy have their picture taken.

More pretty is to be found in the floral arrangement competition in the entrance hall.  There were fewer this year, but I had fun finding the edibles in the bouquets.

Look for the vegies.

More to come!

  1. I don't have any success with orchids (I've killed two of them), but I always enjoy the display that the Orchid Society puts together for the show gardens. They do a great job.

  3. The orchid society has really pulled out all the stops with their displays the past few years. Orchids do love the camera. It's always fun to relive the show through other people's lenses. I hope that the vendors, garden and floral creators who make the show such a spectacular event for us all to enjoy are richly rewarded.

  6. I've just looked at all three part! All of it is so pretty! Bob's Rustic Sheds, of course, is one of my favorites. :) I love the lilies too, well, Lady Slippers. Are Lady Slippers a kind of lily? I'll have to look that up on Google.

  9. I find the one that looks like radishes very interesting. I assume they aren't radishes, maybe beets of some kind? Pretty, whatever they are.
