It is very sad. I made a visit to my parents' grave today where my father's and all other veterans' graves are so marked. My father talked about certain experiences he had in WWII, but my brother recently found paperwork that indicated that there was much more of a story that we never heard about.

ReplyDeleteIt is. This pic is of the American Cemetery in Normandy, France. It's much bigger that this photo shows, and it was a solemn place to visit.
