Green Glow

It rained here on Memorial Day, a light, steady, gentle rain. As I looked out my windows, everything just seemed to glow, a green glow.

From the patio:

We spent most of Sunday working in the garden. The edges are all crisp and tidy again.
The spring growth is so exuberant.

From the family room window and the front porch:

From the dining room window:
A garden is a thing of beauty, and  job forever, but also a joy forever.

  2. It didn't rain here much on Sunday, but yesterday it rained almost the whole day. It is true, your pictures remind me why Seattle is known as the Emerald City. :-)

  5. You really have such a splendid view each day out your windows but like you said, it is a job forever that you two do willingly.

  10. I love your yard. It's so neat as opposed to mine which is chaotic. I guess I must like it that way because I'm the one who planted all those flowers! I can't blame anyone else.

  11. Nice that you have things that you can observe from inside. Rain really does freshen things up. We've had some good rains for a couple of days.

  15. Thank you for the tour of your garden. It is beautiful, as always. Love your partridges and the three watering cans. Funny how the rain does make everything glow.
