The sun has now set here on the shortest day of the year. As we go into the longest night, the rain has stopped, the sky cleared, and we had a few longer moments of light. This evening we will celebrate with light! We're going to Garden 'd Lights at the Bellevue Botanical garden. Tomorrow I'll have pictures. And tomorrow brings a new beginning. Slowly the light returns and the days become brighter. May your days do the same. HAPPY SOLSTICE!

  1. Happy Solstice to you as well, Linda! I am ready for some brighter days!

Have a good week! Wishing you and your family a very Merry, Merry Christmas!

  2. I love thinking that the days will now start to lengthen. I look forward to warm sunny springtime.

  3. Am looking forward to your photo from your Garden 'd Lights! Yes, now we can officially start looking ahead to spring, now that winter is "officially here". Have a very Merry Christmas with your family.

  4. Happy winter solstice, summer for us Linda.
Also I enjoyed reading your previous blog about your day out at the game and your photos. Excellent! - Dave

  5. Our days do get a smidgen shorter even here in Hawaii. Our day today is definitely bright.
