And a bit of borrowed pink from the neighbors flowering plums. I sure do miss out pink cherry trees on the driveway, but they were diseased and had to be removed last year.

Spring is Busting Out all Over Winter
Today the clouds have returned and rain is starting to fall, but what a week of spring we've had.
Yesterday I picked material for this arrangement, to bring the sunny yellow indoors, as the clouds darken the days.
Rabbit and Bird have their own golden bonsai of forsythia.
The little Tete-a-tete daffodils popped out last week.
Forsythia and native Indian plum in the side yard.

just gorgeous you truly have spring first.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love all these flowers! Forsythia and Daffodils were always sure signs of Spring for me growing up. I wonder what will bloom in these parts? Nothing yet I'm afraid!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure this is an exciting time for the two of you. It must be exciting every day as you see buds opening and bulbs breaking through the ground. You've worked so hard in your garden and now the plants are coming back to thank you for your efforts.
ReplyDeleteOh I am so enjoying spring through your blog! What beauty you have appearing in your yard. Lovely, lovely. Gives me hope that spring will arrive here in Maine some day!
ReplyDeleteI just don't understand how you can have spring before we do down south. (Okay...I'm jealous.) What's the secret?
ReplyDeleteThe secret is El Nino, which is also the cause of the snow storms in the south and east.
ReplyDeleteAw, poor El Nino, what a bum rap! LOL. NOT. I like your vases and planter pots. They showcase the flowers very nicely.
ReplyDeleteJust seeing your photos make me almost smell spring in the air. Absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures of the early spring. We had a week of nice weather and now we, too, have rain.
ReplyDeleteI've been out on my bike and in the garden and am behind in blogging.
Makes me want to get on a plane... just beautiful Linda...
ReplyDeleteI just had to stop by again to look at the gorgeous flowers again! Its pouring here, winds blowing 50-60 mph and generally a blah day. However, the header photo brightened my day immensely!!
ReplyDeleteWow! Daffodils out there already! Isn't that early? I specially liked your photo of the blossom tree near the deck. - Dave
