I'm working hard not to lose it over this one. If it hadn't been for unions my railroading father and husband would have been in a real mess.
Are the only people protesting in Wis. the people who voted against this governor? I suspect not. I suspect you'd find a lot who voted for him who are now saying "but I didn't think he'd do something like this!"
I hope a lot of people who thought Republicans would do a better job of it will look at Wisconsin and give it all a second thought. They forget it was the Republicans who pushed us into the quagmire we're in now.
Linda, I couldn't have said it any better; great question!
Also, I wanted to respond to what you said on my blog; yeah, there are times I like being not noticed as well too...sometimes it's really okay to be in the background. Interestingly enough though, I love being noticed for being a great educator!

ReplyDeleteKay is right!!
ReplyDeleteYes!!
ReplyDeletePeople forget, before unions there were a few rich, many poor and not many in between. I fear that the Republicans want to return us to those days.
