Dave Reeder, Tom's brother, and his bride Vicki were married in Puyallup, WA 50 years ago, and moved to the Los Altos area soon after. They look pretty amazing, for "old" people, don't they?
Some of the members of the original wedding party came from quite a distance to be here for the day.
And here are the rest of us, minus a few children who had run off to play, who were treated to a wonderful garden lunch before the reception later in the afternoon.
Yes, there was a garden, too! I will post more about that when I get back home. Hotel hook up is slow and my little laptop gets easily bogged down with my plethora of pictures.
Congratulations to that young looking couple! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful event. And yes, they look amazing--as do you all.
ReplyDeletePuyallup to L.A. is quite a change of scenery, climate, and culture! You all look wonderful! What's your secret?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful way to celebrate 50 years together!
ReplyDeleteQuite an accomplishment in this day and time so congratulations to the couple. I would never have guessed that woman was old enough to be married 50 years! She is obviously doing many things right! Lovely location!
ReplyDelete50 years is an amazing achievement in this day and age. But I have to say the bride is very youthful.
ReplyDeletehow fun and what an accomplishment 50 years!
ReplyDeleteThey do look super lovely for 50 years. Maybe we should be planning a garden party...I so afraid that few would come. But I should be brave, shouldn't I?
ReplyDeleteFifty's special and it looks like most of you are still around to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed, the bride and groom do look quite young. Are you sure they have been married 50 years? ;)
ReplyDeleteHow nice that you all could be together for this wonderful celebration.
They really are a nice looking couple and look too young to have been married 50 years. Looking forward to hearing about the rest of your trip.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful and well matched people. Just lovely. The table is too. So glad you all could be there. Hope the flight went well. :)
ReplyDeleteawww 50 years, so happy for their story.
ReplyDeleteThey are a fine looking couple indeed. As you know, some friends of mine celebrated their 50th a couple of weeks ago, too. I see you are wearing your pretty white jacket, looking very spiffy. :-)
ReplyDelete50 years??? Wow! They DO look amazing! What a fantastic celebration to have you all there to commemorate the special day.
