Coming Home

This is our last night in New Orleans.  Wednesday morning we will be driving to the airport to begin our trip back home.

I will miss these magnificent oak trees, and the sense of adventure that comes with exploring new territory, but I will not miss the heat and humidity.  We are tired of coping, and are very ready to be home.

It looks like it will be heating up at home in Seattle too, but it will be minus the awful humidity, and with all of the comforts of home.

I still have three days of posting to do from this trip, but it may be a few days before I get back to it now.  We'll see.

So long for now.

  2. You've had quite an adventure! The live oaks with Spanish Moss are awesome but there's no place like home!

  3. Yes, a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

  7. You must be happy to be headed home and away from this humidity. It is terrible. Feels like August! That tree is beautiful!

  8. Have a safe flight to your less humid home and your own bed. One of the perks of travel.
