Kubota Gardens in Autumn Glory

You can't sit around forever waiting for election returns. We needed to run away for a while. Since our autumnal color was later this year, it was not too late to visit Kubota Gardens. The rain had stopped and we thought we could beat the crowds on this cool, cloudy Friday morning.

What follows is a massive photo dump. Few words, many photos, so just go on a stroll. We did.

It was glorious.

I almost hated to go back out the gate, but I was tired and it was time to go home for lunch.

Goodbye!

  2. Linda, thank you for taking so many pictures and sharing them with us! What a colorful display! That was a great idea to visit this amazing place. We went to Bainbridge today and, of course, I bought some plants in the Bainbridge Gardens nursery.

  12. Oh the colors of the garden this time of year. The RED reds through out the greens. You look so pretty standing there amongst it all. I didn't know that there was a rhodendron that bloomed this time of year. A bonus.
