It's Officially February

I should be in bed. It's after midnight and I'm still catching up with blogging. But hurray! January is over. It's officially February. I don't want to wish my life away but January is not an easy month. It's dark and cold and there's not much to celebrate. At least this year we got to celebrate a new president. Tomorrow/today is Superbowl Day. Since our Seahawks didn't make it to post season play this year, we've not paid much attention to football this month. But, was it three years ago?, we played the Steelers in the Superbowl in Detroit and got robbed. We hate the Stealers. While Tom won't pay much attention to the game, I'll be rooting for the Cardinals, even if they did win our division. Happy February, everyone!

  3. ha ha ha ha... I forgot it was Superbowl Sunday and invited some non-football fan friends over for decadent chocolate cake and conversation about 3:30 or 4:00 this afternoon.

It's a dang good thing Wayne doesn't care about either of these teams, and for the most part finds the commercials crude and boorish. I coulda been in BIG trouble.

I agree with you Linda! Every day we get closer to spring is a great day. Isn't this leap year? One extra day this month before we come to March winds, April showers,
and then.... ta ta... May flowers.

  5. I'm not a sports on TV fan myself, to each his own, and I'm from PA, so I'd have to take PA over Az. But I know that last game with Seattle was unsettling.

The inauguration was incredible, making January almost blissful.

I would like to go to the snow yet this winter season, but not sure what snow is doing around here, rain..snow, can't decide if it is actually winter.
Maybe I'll go to Winthrop in early spring and there will be snow.

    I can't believe it's Feb already, Linda.

I think this Wed night I'm going to go early to the grill by the Harvard Exit for burger night ( 4.99 burgers).. any chance you and Maya could stop by?
