On The Island

I am currently on Whidbey Island.  We arrived Friday, late afternoon.  Since then we have had all kinds of weird weather: continuous thunder storms, with and without rain,  a sunny afternoon on Saturday, and today wind and steady drizzle, gray and chilly.  


Right now we are sitting in a Chinese restaurant lounge, where I have Wi-Fi and cable TV, and we are watching the Sounders playing the Red Bulls in New York.  1-1 at half time.

    I hope things have calmed down by now. I've been seeing some really neat pictures on Northwest Cable News's FB page ... even green nighttime skies. Can't wait to see your pictures.

    Sounds delightful in spite of the gray weather. WI still sounds like paradise.

    Temps here have been brutally hot and I've limited my time outside. Looking forward to some cooler temps. Until then I live vicariously!
