When cloudy was the weather....
It's liquid air out there, but we're going to gear up and get out for our walk anyway. Good for the complexion, they say.
Yesterday I got the first storm debris cleaned up.
Sunday, while watching the Seahawks give away a 17 point lead, I did a little Autumnal decorating.
I found enough zinnias out in the cutting garden to make a bouquet of glorious color for the kitchen table.
Drip, drip. Time to go brave the elements. There's more work waiting outside once the walking is done.
Love all your fall decorating! A huge Douglas fir branch fell onto our garden in the wind over the weekend. I'm going to need Nigel's help cleaning that up. I bought some knobbly gourds the other day at the grocery store. I'll have to see what I can do with them. Too many ideas, and not enough energy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful decorations. I did my exercise yesterday at the gym, where it was quite dry. :-)
ReplyDeleterain-what is that? lol...fun to decorate for fall...my favorite season-it's cooling now to low 90s.
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful sense of color and style. It shows in your garden structure and in your home decoration I guess I should not blow off the season and pull out at least a few pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteYour house is looking very much ready for the coming days when more time will be spent inside. Love the fall colors.
ReplyDeleteFall is such a busy time in the garden but unlike spring the pace can be a bit more laid back. Your new header is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Autumn décor, looks perfect for the season.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful inside and out. Good rain gear must be an absolute requirement in your area.
ReplyDeleteYour gardens are so lovely, and I know they must be a lot of work for you. But keeps you from just sitting around, right?
ReplyDeleteI guess if there's no option you go out in the rain and do the clean up and inside too! Things look great in the rain.
ReplyDeleteThat first picture is beautiful. I can see the rain drops on the leaves. It must have been a job getting up all that tiny cedar tree litter. I love your fall decorations. You and Tom turn everything you touch into something beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou really did a great clean up job. Nary a speck left.
ReplyDeleteLove your decorations. Fall colors are my favorite, almost too much so. I live in a home with mostly orange walls.
Your blown glass pumpkins are so pretty! Fall cleanup is no fun, a little at a time:)
ReplyDeleteMy goodness your sure did some Fall cleanup. Your yard looks immaculate.
ReplyDeleteLove the indoor decorating also.

Nice decorating! I bought candy corn as my salute to the season.
ReplyDeleteI like what you say about the humidity being good for one's complexion.
ReplyDeleteLove those pictures of the Autumnal decoration.
ReplyDeleteI love the decorations
