Yesterday it got cold, low 40's and it rained. But I got photos in the yard while it was still sprinkling.
Tom's bonsai. The rest are now under cover, but we had to leave these two beauties out.
The stuffed greenhouse.
Trees turning color, and other lingering lovelies.
Today it warmed up 10 degrees and rained more, with the wind determined to blow the leaves off the trees.
It's November rain.
Very pretty. A few trees are starting to change. It shouldn’t be long now.
ReplyDeleteTom needs a larger greenhouse! Your roses are still putting out blooms!
ReplyDeleteHere in Vt we had killing frost a little over a week ago, but the past week has been unusually warm and sunny -- not a typical November at all. But the leaves are on the ground. Stick season.
ReplyDeleteThe various colors are so interesting and pretty. Lots to look at and enjoy - thanks for sharing the photos.
ReplyDeleteLots of great fall colors at your place. You even have some blooms on the go. Enjoy your winter rain.
ReplyDeleteAwesome fall photos, Linda! Tom is so great at maintaining his bonsai beauties. It's so much fun to seeing even the miniature trees changing into its fall colors.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Farside that Tom needs a bigger greenhouse. Do you use any kind of heater in it?
ReplyDeleteHe uses a small space heater in the greenhouse when it gets cold to prevent it from going below 40-45. It us usually set at 50.
DeleteLove bonsais but admit I am usually surprised to see them with fall foliage. Duh, they are little trees. Soo pretty.
ReplyDeleteI sure enjoy seeing the yard with all the color still around! And I also love Tom's bonsai trees. :-)
ReplyDeleteBrrrr! You still manage to find so much beauty in your lives. Tom's bonsai are beautiful. He is a master.
ReplyDeleteYou have such great fall beauty in your yard. I like to sit and study a bonsai as they are very magical.
ReplyDeleteTemperature in the 40s is freezing for us in Hawaii. Here, it's 70-86F. Beautiful trees. Terrific!
