Daily Life of a Retired Teacher Living in Seattle
Beautiful shot. I love that you included a landmark.
fun reminds me of my first trip there at the world's fair when i was much younger...
Perfect catch for SWF! In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west; people create distinctions out of their own minds and then beleive them to be true. Mine's up too hope you can drop by... Happy SWF!
Clever and cool! What would Seattle be without the Space Needle? (Only kidding.)
Beautiful and I loved how you got that jet in the sky as well... very well done!Mountain Retreat
Now that is clever Linda!
Beautiful photo of the Space Needle! I've always wanted to go to Seattle, there are so many wonderful things that I'd like to see when I go. The space needle being one of them! Great post!
A needle and a thread.. what a nice coincidental combination! That thread is one wonderful decoration for that spotless blue sky!My SWF pictures are posted in these blogs:Jenn Was Here and Shutter Happy Moments. Hope you can hop by if you have the time. Happy weekends to you!
Great photo of the Needle, what mountain is that on your page? Very nice
Beautiful shot. The sky is so clear and blue. Just wonderful! Happy SWF!!
What a great photo! Catching the contrail and the framing is just right.I see you too are a retired teacher. Isn't it grand!Your blog is wonderful and I love the flower photos below. Thanks for coming by my reflections in the Jeep gate.
This is such a cool photo but your title is what makes it so perfect!!! Have a great weekend, Linda.
What a clever title.I call this 'Max's Perch' A 'Dark Angel' reference.
Very cool shot, my son was with me when I went to your site and his reaction was wow. We really need to vacation in your state some day.
Love the idea of the needle and there seems to be a thread floating around too!
Good title! The splash of cloud is just terrific - makes the image come alive.
Since I have been to the top (and eaten the cake there), I feel I have relationship to it.Nice shot!
Perfect capture with the contrail! Happy Skywatch Friday!
Excellent composition and I love the name you've given it. Beautiful!
Thanks for stopping by my SEWF, and for leaving a link here - love this shot, really looks kind of 'spacey' with the con trail zipping by. Your previous photo on the rain drops on roses (I'm hearing Julie Andrews in my head)and your description of your lawn, like that whack-a-mole game, made me smile!
How clever! I like that. Amazing to have such a contrail without any other clouds in the sky...
Nice SWF shot!
It's a wonderful shot! I love it:)
Very Seattle shot, like the plane flying over as well.

A great choice for Sky Watch... love that blue Sky.
Thats a cool shot. Nice SW. Have a blessed weekend.
The contrail looks like a comment. Perfect effect for this photo.
Oh I do like this one, a beautiful photo of a wonderful landmark. Such a lovely blue sky with the contrasting contrail of the airplane. Visited Seattle several years ago and took the elevator up to the top.
Clever title for a great shot of the Space Needle. I had a drink up top. It was a nice day, although I don't believe I saw Ranier...too many clouds.
Great shot for SWF:) Have a nice weekend.
very cool shot!
