We have planted sweet peas, dahlias, and radishes and lettuce in the raised beds.
We use clear plastic cover until the seeds sprout to warm the soil and keep off cold rain. It also keeps the neighbors cats from doing their "gardening".
I have planted out perennials we have raised or recently purchased.
Salal and other shrubs have been cut back and shaped up.
The lawn is mowed and a bright emerald green.
Plants are emerging from winter dormancy. No sign of unfurling fern fronds yet.
The trillium have opened up with the warmth.
Tomorrow we'll finish up our list of chores and then we'll have time to sit back and watch it rain, knowing we've done what needs doing for now.
I would say SPRING has SPRUNG. Gorgeous green lawn. Lovely yard and dining outside-sounds perfect.
