Field Trip: Christmas Shops

Monday our destination was the suburbs of Lynnwood and Woodinville, north of Seattle. We took some of "the ladies" to see two nurseries that have amazing Christmas shops.
The first stop was Wights in Lynnwood. I'm not sure how many themed trees they have, but it's dozens. And then around each tree are display after display of the featured ornaments.
It was hard to resist, and we didn't, coming away with a few more ornaments for us and some to give away.
After lunch at a nearby Olive garden, we were off to the Poinsettia Festival at Molbaks in Woodinville.
Molbaks also has a huge gift shop where more shopping was done.
It was a fun day and our guests were most appreciative that Tom was once again willing to do the driving. And me too. I am very lucky to have him as my partner.

  2. You are right that you're lucky to have Tom as your partner. Even when my Bob was healthy he had no patience with these kind of trips.

Have to admit I envy you and Tom because you seem to share so many of the same interests.

The only thing Bob and I both like is frosted Cheerios.

I would have enjoyed being one of "the ladies" on this outing.

  5. Wow. Thats what I kept telling myself as I looked at the photos of the trees. They were all beautiful in the photos and I can only imagine how glorious they must have been in person! I too am very fortunate to have a wonderful husband who likes to drive and shop with me and even with an 18 year old daughter sometimes!

  10. That was me removing the comment, Linda. It posted the same thing twice. Something is going a bit weird with Blogger. Somebody else had the same problem with my blog.

  13. Both nurseries are chock full of exceptional christmas goodies. I worked at Emerys Garden for several years and we always had to take field trips to those nurseries to check out the extreme competition. Nothing compares to them. MB
