It's Isaac's birthday too.
To celebrate, I made cupcakes.
This evening we met at a Chinese restaurant for a birthday dinner.
The kids love the Lazy Susan in the middle of the table. The food was flying. Better grab quick! The adults, and kids, like the fact that they can play with their iPhones and share on Facebook for almost instant response from friends and family.
We ate lots of good food and then shared our fortune cookie messages. My was quite amusing: Your dynamic eyes have attracted a secret admirer. Yeah, like maybe a vampire, or as I was advised, a Sith.
After dinner we went to Jill's house for dessert and to open a few gifts. There will be another party on Saturday with more food and cake and gifts.
Isaac is eleven years old today!
His new kitten really enjoyed the ice cream.
So did I, and the cupcakes too!
Happy Birthday to Isaac! He is such a gorgeous young man.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet. He resembles Jill quite a bit. Happy birthday to Isaac. Aloha from Hawaii.

ReplyDeleteYour grandson looks beautiful, Linda!
AW, he loves his new kitten! Great pictures of a very handsome young man.
ReplyDeleteBlogger is being stubborn and lost my last comment. Isaac is almost a young man! Happy birthday, and I laughed at your fortune. :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Isaac. I hope you had a great day!

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Issac. How neat you share it with the King.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see that serious bonding has taken place between the boy and his cat.
Happy birthday, Isaac. Happy 2014 to you and warm greetings from Montreal, Canada. Your photos are lovely!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Isaac! Hooray for another year, and a new kitten, and a wonderful and caring family!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fine way to celebrate 11 years! I see that you give money on b'days like I do, $1 for each year. My little ones are still in single digit years!
ReplyDeleteLove Isaac's kitten. She looks very much like one of our kittens, who is really a cat now, but we still call them kittens.
