Crystal Mountain

We chose to stay at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort because we wanted another day in Mt. Rainier National Park, and the lodging here was available and less expensive than in the National Park Lodge. It is located just outside the park boundaries on the east side of The Mountain.

Breakfast was included with lodging, and we had time to be leisurely, because the main attraction doesn't open until 10:00.
 Look at that sky!
Ski resorts aren't very exciting in the summertime, although lots of people come for the hiking.
We came for the gondola ride!
When you get out at the top, 7000 feet up on top of Crystal Mountain, you just have to say "WOW"!

There is Mount Adams in the distance.

We just sat here on the edge for a while.

Then we walked around to take in all of the views.

We sat and had coffee at the Summit House.

And then it was time to ride back down.

You can see all of the ski runs.

Well, that was just wonderful!

    1. Yes, I like that one too, even though they are petunias and not mountain wild flowers.
