Trying To Keep Up

We spent some time at a computer store today commiserating with another "mature" couple about trying to keep up with technology as we all waited for the store clerks to write up our work orders. Those work orders were the result of buying new computers and then asking "Now what?" So we are paying to have our old hard drive files transferred to our new CPU, and to get the new one up and running. We really have no clue, and sometimes it's better to pay someone. It will probably be cheaper in the long run! Anyway, I will be away from my blog for a few days. I'll look you all up when I get back on line. Don't forget me.

  1. May the force be with you!!!
from one formerly 'computer phobic' then updated to 'computer challenged' and now still ' a work in progress' technologically 'dancing as fast as I can!!'
I look forward to your return.

  2. but just think of all the learning that is happening. also be thankful your hard drive didn't crash and you loose all your files. you are doing planned obsolesce, think that's a make you update or be lost in the fray.

  3. What??!! Forget you? Never! We can't wait til you get up and running again. You'll have new stories to tell us.

  4. We'll be waiting for you, Linda. I know what you mean about keeping up with technology. My son-in-law, Ed is the super techie. It's his job and he's good at it. He also maintains my computer. Sadly, he's in Chicago and we're now here. Sigh.... My brother is pretty good but not in the same caliber as Ed. Sigh.. sigh...
