Up to Speed....For Now

Click, click, wow! What a difference! I can reclaim some of my life back now that I don't have to sit and wait for things to happen. The new computer knows how to jump to it! Hi, all. We are back in business here after our computer upgrade. All it takes to keep up is money, and time, and patience. And of course that price you saw in the ad always gets doubled when you add on everything you need to make it work. At first I was very annoyed that the life span of technology is so short. Then I began to rationalize, and it worked. I discovered that even if this new set up were to last only three years, it would still be only one dollar a day! Now where else can you get communication, information, and entertainment for a dollar a day? A latte and chocolate cost lots more than that. Be talking to you.

  1. Good to have you back Linda..I hate getting used to a new computer. When I ordered this laptop last summer, I requested Windows XP, not Vista..I did not want to get used to something new...

  2. I had no idea what a bargain keeping up with technology is. That is NOT a wisecrack. When you broke it down to $1.00 a day, I was taken back a bit. That's pretty doggone good entertainment dollar.. not even taking into account the new friendships, development of talents, ease of shopping (for those of us in more rural areas with limited to NO shopping options) highway of information... Yup! Sounds like a pretty good deal to me!

WELCOME HOME! Good to have you back.

I loved your continuation of the analogy! Thank you so much!

  3. I am glad computers only last a few years. I think it's fun to get a new computer, personally.

  4. yes change is more difficult for us as we get older and don't want to adapt and adjust but life is that way too-always changing and hopefully improving us.

  5. Congratulations on getting a new computer, Linda. That IS a good feeling. I'm glad we've got you back.
