The Stars and Stripes fly over our cabin on Whidbey Island, with an additional nod to some of our heritage as well. Like our country, we are a melting pot, a blend of cultures and nationalities.
Happy Fourth of July
It is well known that we Portuguese once sailed the seven seas searching for new lands, wealth and adventures.

Luckily I don’t have to sail the big oceans on a small ship to sea the wonders of our world …
No Sir, I just need to check with Mr. Tom, the finest host there is, for a trip around the world with SKY WATCH TOURS and with a click here, a click there I am quickly in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy, China, Australia, Finland … well, everywhere.
And on each stop I come to see a little marvel of our world under a great sky!

Your bay sure isn't "useless" for fantastic sunsets! I like seeing the progression of the sun melting into the ground here :)

The USA is really a melting pot of different cultures and nationalities living together in harmony. The secret of this success must be a solid democracy, mutual respect and the American upper identity which embraces all these people of different origins.
