Today I'm using one of my archive photos, taken several years ago. This is Twin Rocks, taken from in front of the family cabin in Rockaway Beach, Oregon. I'll be heading there next week for another stay. I sure would love to have blue skies overhead again.
Enjoy Skywatch.
Looks like a beautiful place to visit. Have fun! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAwesome, looks like a wonderful beach

What a beautiful place to have a cabin! Yep, I'm envious!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sky Watch!
This is Really pretty!! I love the coast! Happy night!
ReplyDeleteI'm all for a fabulous archive like this. Unusual rocks.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the twin rocks looked like say, 5 to 10,000 years ago. I would guess much larger. It is a well composed photograph.
ReplyDeleteMy picture is at Canon Pixels
oregon coast is lovely when the sun shines. we found a rental house for a week next july near rockport. so are looking forward to that.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to have a family cabin in such a beautiful locale!
ReplyDeleteHappy Skywatch travels to you tonight!

ReplyDeleteMy SWF pictures are here and here. Happy weekends!
It kind of looks like a sea serpent..
ReplyDeleteThat is such a pretty photo, Linda. I love it. Someday, someday, we will need to get to Oregon.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful place to have a cabin. Those rocks remind me of a similar formation we saw in New Zealand up near the Bay of Islands. We went on a boat trip and when we went through the rock,I was at the back of the boat, hanging on to the side with one hand and taking a picture with the other! Thank you for stopping by my SW
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot of those rocks. I love the coast. Have a wonderful visit.
ReplyDeleteVery nice coastal shot with those wave eroded sandstone blocks.
ReplyDeleteAn enviable spot. Looks like another picture for the wall. Have a good visit - and blue skies.
ReplyDeleteLove the unusual rock feature against a clear blue sky! Lovely pic!
ReplyDeleteGood shot. To me its as if you were walking through the trees headed to the beach and captured some sort of sea monster coming up for air to me.
ReplyDeleteI love the Oregon coast, while I live in Georgia, my mother lives in Seattle and my sister was married at a light house on the coast of Oregon. Very beautiful place.
Wow, what a lovely photo and a great view from a cabin. Super SkyWatch contribution. Have a great time when you go and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place and beautiful photo. Oregon is on the list of states I still have not been to. I'd love to see this view for myself!
ReplyDeleteOooh - I want to walk along that beach, under that sky, next to that tree. Very nice frame!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot! The rocks look illuminated.
ReplyDeleteThe sun was coming up over the Coast Range, lighting the sea and the rocks, but had not yet risen high enough to light the beach. The effect was startling.
ReplyDeleteThis is the view from your cabin? Oh my! So if you come up missing, we'll know where to look. I would never want to leave a place like this. Truthfully... never.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo!! Those rocks are so cool!! Happy SWF!!
ReplyDeleteLove it and your header :-)
ReplyDeleteI am still wishing I was related! Such awesome ocean havens.
ReplyDeleteYou know, there's a Rockaway Beach in NY - used to hang out there as a teen.
ReplyDeleteNot quite the same as yours though
So beautiful
Those rocks are beautiful in that light. What a view. God bless, Linda.
