Skywatch - Hats For a Mountain
Mt. Rainier frequently wears a cap cloud, but last Friday at sunset, the mountain seemed to have a reserve supply. The cap clouds were stacked up like caps on a shelf in a hat shop - a hat shop for mountains.
Mt. Rainier is to the right in the picture. Click to enlarge. These photos were taken on Sunlight Beach, Useless Bay, Whidbey Island.
