The grandkids are on the patio plying "cooking". Corey is at work. Jill and Jake are in Kansas City, Kansas for tonight's Sounders match, the Open Cup Final. They have reported in and find the environment less that pleasant - hot, flat, and brown. We are spoiled here in the northwest.
Tom is chillin' but helps when I ask him to.
I am packing for tomorrow's trip to Rockaway Beach, Oregon, where we will spend several days on the coast. Corey will join us Friday. Tom and I have to come back Saturday, because Tom's brother and his wife are coming in from California and will be overnighting with us. Corey and the kids will come home Sunday.
Jill and Jake will fly back and overnight in Seattle Thursday before flying out again for the Sounders match Saturday in San Jose. Their cousin Julie and her kids will be coming to the northwest from San Jose.
Monday the Reeder clan will converge on Whidbey Island for most of the week. We'll be there Monday - Wednesday, then come back home to start getting ready for the contractors and our remodeling project the following Monday.
Right now I need to pack a few more things, and then get ready to go to Tad's house to watch the Sounders match on TV. It's on some obscure channel that no one has, except Tad, of course. Maybe we'll see Jill and Jake on TV.
Anyway, I'm going to be busy coming and going, and I'm not even going to try to keep track of anyone else's comings and goings. Whew!
