We've been busy around here with some on-going projects.
One of them, of course, is Project Me.
I had my first post-op physical therapy session yesterday morning. I constructed a chart for the seven exercises and stretches, and that's how I started my day this morning.
It looks like I have one more Shoulder flex to do. Two sets were enough this morning.
I'm back up to speed with my walking, and now I can start some gentle work on my flexibility again.
Gotta' keep moving!
Good for you! This is great.
ReplyDeleteUp and at 'em!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I'm back home, but exhausted. Will hike tomorrow, but I've got to get some good quality sleep tonight. :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your great progress. The fact you can walk normally is good news.
ReplyDeleteYou're doing great! There are two statements that really apply to physical therapy: Use or it lose it; and No pain, no gain!!
ReplyDeletegood for you, you're certainly well organized!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! Keeping data on progress even now. You can take a teacher out of the classroom but you can never take the classroom out of a teacher! Happy week 3.4!
ReplyDeleteGood or you. The follow though s so important in making a full recovery. I realized how inactive I have been this winter after a dy in the garden. All that stooping and bending to clean out the beds and now I'm walking slowly.
ReplyDeleteYou seem to be mending nicely. i would also make a chart like that. My son is having shoulder problems
ReplyDelete(he has been told it is a frozen shoulder, but he is seeking a second opinion). My daughter also was told she had a frozen shoulder, but now they say it is tendonitis. My children are falling apart. i said they just don't make them like they used to.
Good for you!,
ReplyDeleteOoh, that chart looks like a good idea. I tend to forget if I did 3 sets or 2 for my shoulder in the morning. Sometimes I get interrupted and try to catch up for the noon session. I may start a chart also. Thanks.
