A long driveway allows for plenty of space for luxurious beds of roses and hydrangeas.
In front of the house a path leads to the rose garden.
A stream trickles through the shrubbery.
Artists in action select their subject matter.
An entry courtyard abounds with plants in pots and planters.
Crafts people offer their wares for sale. We did purchase one of these post toppers, a blue jay.
Around the side of the house we come to the view. This home is located on the Sound too, with views of Lay Inlet and Raft Island.
Jane likes pink. Here she is, dressed in pink, visiting with one of her garden guests.
That stack of boats is well used by her many grand children and great grandchildren.
Thank you, Jane, for sharing your gorgeous garden.
They certainly do enjoy the good life. I am guessing she has at least one gardener.
ReplyDeleteI love the view but I also love your garden the most!
ReplyDeleteAnother great garden!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th !!
How does she choose -- work in the garden or just sit and look at the water view?
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful and has such a great view! Thanks for the tour. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm like Olga. With that view, pretty sure I'd have to hire the gardening to be done. Those post toppers are neat. Don't think I've ever seen them.
ReplyDeleteWow what a great place for a family of many generations. It would need some staff to keep all that beauty at its finest. Lovely post
ReplyDeleteWhat a truly gorgeous garden. I've never seen post toppers like those either. They are adorable.
ReplyDeleteLove the old wicker with the flowery cushions what a wonderful place to sit! :)
ReplyDeletePretty in pink! A lovely garden filled with children that are seen and not heard. What's not to love?
