News Flash!

I just discovered the Google Translator! I can copy and paste text from Inga-Britt's blog into the text window and it gives me a full translation!!! http://translate.google.com Technology is grand!

  2. I just did it and it looks amazing. I tried one of these translations things before and had my mother read it. She said it was terrible. I'm going to get her and see if this works better. Thanks for letting us know. I'm excited!

  4. Oh dear! I'm sorry, Linda. I just had my mother read the Japanese translation and she said it was terrible. I wonder if it's because the Japanese-English syntax is so different from each other. The sentence structure is so garbled that I had to tell her what I wrote about for her to figure out what the translation was trying to show.

    Ah well... this isn't entirely bad. We know that the Japanese-English (people) translators still have a job.

  6. I discovered this too a little while ago and have been talking to various friends. I think it is better than the usual translation sites I have been on. It seemed to be anyhow from what I could tell, not knowing other languages. Nice to be able to communicate with our blogging friends from other countries and I am sure they forgive a few mistakes.
