Skywatch Friday

Sunset over Useless Bay, Whidbey Island, WA. The Stars and Stripes fly over our cabin on Whidbey Island, with an additional nod to some of our heritage as well. Like our country, we are a melting pot, a blend of cultures and nationalities.
Happy Fourth of July

  1. It is well known that we Portuguese once sailed the seven seas searching for new lands, wealth and adventures.
We were brave in those days and gave the world new worlds!

Luckily I don’t have to sail the big oceans on a small ship to sea the wonders of our world …
No Sir, I just need to check with Mr. Tom, the finest host there is, for a trip around the world with SKY WATCH TOURS and with a click here, a click there I am quickly in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy, China, Australia, Finland … well, everywhere.

And on each stop I come to see a little marvel of our world under a great sky!
Hope you can come and see my piece of the sky at lenses & visions

Let me wish you and all your beloved ones a Happy 4th of July!

  17. Very beautiful sunset shots! I know I'm late however I still wish you a Happy Fourth of July. The USA is really a melting pot of different cultures and nationalities living together in harmony. The secret of this success must be a solid democracy, mutual respect and the American upper identity which embraces all these people of different origins.

    I wish you a perfect week-end,

    Best regards,
