As June merged into July, new things began to bloom.
I picked my first bouquet of sweet peas yesterday. So pretty and so fragrant.
Also this week Tom and I updated our cell phones. We handed over our old iPhone 5c's for donation and came home from the Sprint store with new iPhone 8's. Mine is bright red!
The young man in the just-opened Sprint store was wonderful, spending lots of time with us, adjusting our account, setting up our new phones and wiping our old phones. We felt like friends by the time we left. Fortunately there was very little other customer business in the store.
I'm excited to have a much better phone camera. I tried it out in the garden right away.
There were glitches in getting my new phone to download photos to my old desktop computer, but I think I have worked that out now. New technology always presents some sort of puzzle to solve.
I'm sure my ipad takes as photos as well as my point and shoot.
ReplyDeleteI keep saying I need a new phone but never seem to get the oomph to go shopping for one. Perhaps a bright red one would help me to remember to take it along with me when I go out.
ReplyDeleteI got a new phone this past winter, and I use it as a camera now more than my other two "real" cameras, it's so much easier and the pictures are great. You got some nice shots.
ReplyDeleteNice new phone! It takes great pics too!
ReplyDeleteHappy new phone to you! It takes great pictures.
ReplyDeleteI have an iPhone 7 and love it. Welcome to the new camera, Linda. It does take wonderful pictures. :-)
ReplyDeleteI like that phrase puzzle to solve, that could describe much in life!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new phone. It really takes great pictures--well you have something to do with that.
ReplyDeleteWow, the photos are noticeably better.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wonder why I carry my camera at all----The new phones are wonderful cameras. Your flowers are gorgeous. I was saying on FB that my Spring flowers were mostly yellows and orange colored and now my summer flowers seem to mostly purples. Weird eh?
