November 1st? Really?

Time flies when you're having fun, or working hard.

The full moon maple in the front yard waited for us.  It was mostly green when we got home last Thursday, but now it's putting on it's show.
Tom has spent most of the last two days out in the yard, doing the fall clean up.  I was out there helping most of today.  It's hard work, but we're always pleased with the results when it's done.  It's good exercise, too, but it does cause aches and pains.  Groan.
Our seasons were all late this year, so it's already November and we're just now coming into the height of  color in the yard.

November's here, ready or not.  Hope it's a good one.

  5. Your yard is so beautiful. But yes, it does look like a lot of work to keep it in perfect form. And you definitely have been busy! November first here was sunny and warm, tomorrow for our hike it's supposed to rain, though. It's the season...
