Little League

Along with my grandchildren come new experiences.  Our kids never participated in Little League baseball.

But Isaac is a member of the Braves, and they had a game tonight.
It was dry after a rainy morning, but the wind was COLD!
They play three innings or 1.5 hours, which ever comes first.  With young pitchers there are a lot of walks.  An inning is over when there are the usual three outs or they have gone through the batting order once.  Out in right field, where no ball ever comes, Issac did his best to stay entertained while still keeping his eye on the ball, just in case.

At bat he got his walks by doing a good job of watching the ball.
On base he was ready to go on a hit or another walk.
We never had our daughter in dance class either, but Irene is.  She made an appearance after dance class, with her new sketch book.
It's good to have new experiences, even when you're old.

  1. They are such active and interesting people, Isaac and Irene. You are fortunate to have them nearby now. Irene is such a fashionista! She looks great! :-)
