Our 50/75 Celebration: The Preliminary Report

The party was wonderful. I know that because my guests told me so. There's still a lot to ponder and remember and cherish in the coming days. I have some photos on my camera that my daughter took, and more photos I will get from my photographers, Isaac and Irene.
I will sort through them in the coming days as we decompress, and eventually there will be a more comprehensive post.

We are sitting in a quiet house now, with almost everything cleaned up and put away. Family members helped with that, and our daughter Jill was a wonderful helper/hostess.  After everyone had gone, Tom and I took a break to sit on the patio and enjoy the stillness and the warm evening air. He had a glass of wine. I had cake. :-)  Then we finished cleaning up the kitchen.

As for the party, there were lots of lovely people, all connected to us in some way. There was color

and cake, for both birthdays and anniversary,

multiple birthdays to celebrate,
and toasting too.
Tom and I are blessed and it was a privilege to share our blessings.
