Coolness

It's drizzling again this morning, and 58 degrees, a delicious, moist coolness after days of 85 to 90+ temps. Everything is still dangerously dry, but it's easier to breathe. Even the flowers in the garden think so.
I'm having issues with downloading photos from my new iPhone. This photo persists on laying down sideways. I guess you just have to tilt your head to look at it.

Charlie follows me everywhere in the garden now.

They say the sun will come back soon, but hopefully not so intensely.

  1. Your garden looks so nice bejeweled with mist. This cooling is a nice breather after the heatwave but I was getting used to and enjoying the warmth.

  2. No drizzle here, just clouds. I am enjoying the cooler temps though. At least when I water it doesn't evaporate before it even hits the soil.

  3. Your phone makes gorgeous photos. Where is Charlie going this winter on cold wet days and nights? Is Josie’s closet available?

  6. We haven't had a drop of rain, and yesterday in the mountains it sprinkled a little on our way up the highway, but then it stopped. I would love to have had your moisture, or at least a little of it. Wonderful pictures of rain-kissed flowers, my favorite color, too. :-)
