Fancy Nancy

Yesterday was International Women's Day.
-
Irene probably didn't know this, but she must have felt the vibe of powerful women world wide celebrating, because she asked her mother if she could dress up.
-
As Jill said, she didn't need to ask, and the answer was "Of course!". Here she is, in her finery, with her art work displayed on the refrigerator behind her.
-
I have no doubt that she will take her place in the world of powerful women. She already has the power.

  1. And a most stylish young lady indeed! Her artwork is lovely as well. My daughter used to love to dress up for any occasion!

  3. I also have no doubt Irene will be a powerful woman in her world. I wonder why? Could it be that both her mother and grandmother encourage her? Jill makes me tired just looking at all the things she does to make life special for those kids. You and Tom also stay busy helping in all their activities.

Your Halloween pictures were wonderful and all the clothes you sew for them.

You worked so hard at Christmas to make it special for Jill and her family.

What a wonderful support system Irene has, all working to help her reach every ounce of her potential. Go Irene, go!

  5. She is becoming powerful- never one much to play games- she played her first ever game of Uno on her own and beat Isaac and me- TWICE!
